I put quotes in the beginning but the rest were just of pictures. We had 200 guest, I did about 30 pages including those with pics and that left plently of room for ppl to write. My book was unlined so it was more yearbook type of message so ppl won't just signed their names. :)
Hope that helps. Oh and I did it through Blurb.com.
I had 135 guests, made a 26 page book and had extra space. I just put pictures in the book (some pages I left white space for signing/messages while some I put full sized pictures). I didn't put lines as I wanted to encourage people to leave a note, not just their name.
We're expecting about 160 guests and our book is about 60 pages. Some are completely blank, some have a picture and black space and same are fully taken up by a photo. We also didn't put any lines.
Instead of putting page numbers we put the lyrics to "our song" on the bottom of each page so that each page was one line in the song. Our title page has the song title.
We had about 130 guests, and I had a 14 page book with words and pictures. You can see our book here:

We had plenty of space for guests notes since we invited a lot of families with small kids, so really we only had one person from each family/couple signing on behalf of their family.
All very helpful - thank you! We're going the unlined route, too, so this helps knowing how many pages to include for 'yearbook' style.
I'm having 150 guests and we did a 20 page book through blurb. I didn't make my pictures very big (wish I had actually made them bigger) and also did not use lines. I think we're going to have plenty of space for our guests to sign but hopefully shouldn't have too much white space left over. We'll see how it goes in 12 days! :-)

I am starting to work on our photoguest book and would love advice on how many pages to include (expecting 250 guests) and what size of book seems to work the best. Also - did you put anything else on the pages besides pictures (quotes, questions)?
Examples of your guestbook are also appreciated!
