What a great surprise to have vintage cars pick up your man and his guys!
When the after-wedding dust settles, would you please do a quick tutorial (or at least an item list) for the grooms & bridal party emergency kits? I will definitely need one of those kits... ;)
@BayStateBride: Yes sure, I'll definitely do that next week for you :)
FYI - I've just finished a post listing all of the items in the Emergency Kits. Just go through my profile to find it :)
Hey The pics look fab, I love the emergency kits and the cars and everything. looks like they had a really good time getting ready! :)

I like to picture of the little boy his expression says. "I know I look fly" The beer pic is funny too, hope there was apple juice in there!

Girls Getting Ready
The boys went straight to the hotel at 11.30am to get ready for the photographer who was arriving at 12.30pm.
I made them an “emergency kit” in case anything went wrong (and I mean ANYTHING, that thing was massive!) but thankfully they never needed to use it
I also made a similar one for the girls but unfortunately I don’t have any photos of that. We used it several times though (hemming tape for my torn under skirt, breath mints, hair spray, scissors, it was well worth the money!)
They wore grey three-piece suits with alternating pink and blue ties and pocket squares, with DH, the junior groomsman and the ring bearer (not shown yet) wearing grey bowties that were made of the same material as the bridesmaid’s dresses. We also got them all personalised cufflinks related to their interests which they really enjoyed.
They all look so dapper!
They had a few beers to help settle the nerves!
Some outside shots:
Admiring their matching socks!
As a surprise for DH I organised for two vintage Mustangs (his favourite cars) and a Vintage Cadillac to take them to the venue (they thought that they were just having normal chauffeured cars). I gave a card explaining it all to the best man who handed it to DH when the cars arrived at the hotel to pick them up. Apparently he was totally shocked and it worked a treat!
Almost time for the cermeony! that's coming up next.
Edit: I forgot to mention that we had a big curfuffle with the suit hire shop. When we went to pick them up on Thursday only 4 of the 10 suits that we had ordered were correct! they didn't even have a record of 2 of them, even though we had paid the deposits for them! So we had to go back on the Friday afternoon (Three hour round trip in peak hour) to pick up the rest of them! Seems like the only thing that went wrong at our wedding was related to our clothing! oh well
