Okay Bees I need some help! I would LOVE to have a photobooth for our wedding. The wedding is still a while away so we don’t have the details of budget hammered out. But I just want to know – what is a good amount to estimate for a photobooth? I know we could make our own – but honestly, we’re not that handy.
If you’ve done a photobooth – are you glad you did? Was it worth the cost? How much did it end up costing you?

Our photobooth is $700 for 4 hours, can’t tell you if it was worth it yet though

@LGenz: Thanks that’s helpful, $700 isn’t TOO bad.

Keep in mind thats Florida pricing, I think I saw a groupon for a NJ/NY photobooth the other day and it was 1000.

I think ours was $800-ish for 4 hours (it was delivered toward the end of dinner and then stayed there until the end of the reception). It was a HUGE hit with our guests!

When we started looking, we got quotes between $800-1000, depending on whether we wanted prints made on the spot. But the best man who’s also a photographer just got the photobooth part of his business up and running will be doing it for us for free, and we just have to supply the paper and our monogrammed photo folders. That might run us about $150 or so. I’ve seen his results for another friend’s wedding and a corporate event and I’m so looking forward to having it at our wedding!

Woah! I know this post if from a year ago but I wanted to post what I had found for anyone still searching for photobooth posts on this forum (like me). Prices are much cheaper where I am looking in the UK. It’s £450 for 3 hours with unlimited prints and included is the dressing up box, free CD with all the prints for us, a guestbook with a copy of all the pictures taken (which the 2 attendant booths handle) and an option to change the background/put messages on the pics of our wedding date etc.

I bargain shopped and ended up getting 4 hours for $400. It wasn’t quite as fancy as the big name booths around here, but it was a huge hit! I loved being able to look at the guestbook that they put together the next day 🙂 Definitely worth it for me. I would have paid more if I had to.

$1000-2000 if you want it done right. Also are you doing an actual booth or an open air set up?

Our photobooth was $625 for 4 hours with unlimited prints, external monitor, props, 2 attendants, and a very professional guestbook for us to take home after. It was absolutely perfect.
