We are having a photobooth also, and I think it's a FANTASTIC idea! I see the photo strips as the favor to give my guests. I love that they will have a personalized and valued momento to take home rather than some silly little trinket that will be thrown out. It's less wasteful as those who don't want a photo strip won't take on. Also we are giving one copy to the guests and keeping one copy in a guest book for them to sign.
We are paying $800, so $450 is a GREAT price! Go for it, I'd say!
I LOVE this idea! There is a photographer near by that has this available, and he's charging around $800. We aren't using him, because my FI's uncle is a pro, so he's giving us a really good deal as our wedding gift.

I just recently found out that my photographer has purchased his own photobooth to add on to photography packages. Basically it is set up at the reception, outside of the ballroom, for guests to go take candid shots of themselves as keepsakes and we get a copy of every shot taken in a hardcover album. To me, this is a great chance to capture our younger guests being silly and enjoying the evening.
As a special, he's only charging $450 for the booth set up and this includes mounting all of the photos into a hardcover album for us to keep since this is a brand new service and he's trying to build up his portfolio of photobooth shots.
Did anyone have a photobooth at their reception? Is this something you would utilize if it was at a wedding?? Does the price seem realistic?
Please let me know!!
