    I’ve heard that photobooths are always a hit. I wanted one but we couldn’t fit it into our budget.

    I love photo booths! we’re having one but not the regular booth kind. I’m making a backdrop and putting a table with props and a poloroid camera it’ll double as a guest book. People can also use there own cameras and phones to take pictures too. And then tag us using our hashtag.

    @CurlyCue:   +1

    Most weddings I’ve been to lately have a photobooth, and they’re so fun! As a guest, I really enjoyed taking silly pictures with friends and family! I’m having both a photobooth and an IG hashtag on my wedding day.

    We’re having a photobooth for 4 hrs but instead of 2×6, we chose double prints of 4×6 pictures with 4 poses and a customized layout with mine and FI’s name and our wedding date that match our wedding colors and theme. It includes props and an on-site attendant.  We’re also doing an instagram hashtag, so our guests can share their pics online! Not everyone have an instagram, so it’s nice to have a photobooth and have physical copies of the pictures.

    Good luck and I hope you’re able to get a good deal!

    We had a photobooth that everyone loved.

    I don’t Instagram. Even if I did I would never post photos of myself drinking or partying and wouldn’t be too happy if others did. In my profession it could be damaging but really it’s not a good idea for anyone who doesn’t want a crazy photo showing up in a job interview one day.

    Just my two cents Laughing

    @AlwaysSunny:  that’s a really good point that is easy to overlook when making these plans. On the one hand, you want to see your guests’ pics, on the other, you don’t want those pics to come bavk and haunt you one day.  You could have guests post pics to a private website if you’re using a website, then you have control and can delete.

    @MsBark:  Glad you asked the question- I have been wondering the same. I met a photo booth company at the Toronto Bridal Show earlier this month – flowPhoto. I think they are a lot pricier than your groupin deal. What company do you think you will use?

    We are doing both.  A DIY photobooth with backdrop, props, and student photographer taking digital photos. The photos will be uploaded to Capsule for guests to look at.  A print copy will go out with thank you cards.  We’ll also have a screen outside the “booth” with an updated slideshow of the photos being taken.

    Then I made these little cards for photo sharing:

    @MsBark:  check out flowphoto – they have 4 or 5 backgrounds and you choose the 1 you like best. You can choose between a photo strip or a 4×6 format, you can have your names and wedding date included so it becomes a guest favour, and they create your guest book as each group of guests uses the booth.
