My cocktail hour starts at 6:00 and my reception ends at 11. My photobooth rental is for 4 hours. Should I start it during cocktail hour and have it end an hour before the reception ends? Or have it start at 7 and end at 11? I am leaning toward 7-11 but I don’t know if it’s better to start during cocktail hour. Anyone who had a photobooth, what do you suggest?

7-11 is a perfect time! Ours is 7:30-10:30 onky 3 hours but oh well. It gives time for people to get goofy and have fun in the photobooth after a few drinks.

@jgzebree8989: My only concern was that it would be starting during dinner and I don’t know how many people will be using it from 7-8ish. But it would be open during dinner either way, and I think I would rather have it open for the last hour of the reception. At every wedding I’ve been to, I didn’t use the photobooth until after dinner, definitely wasn’t looking for it during cocktail hour.

I’d do it from 7-11. We originally paid for two hours and had it scheduled from 9-11 (our ceremony didn’t start until 7:30). It was such a big hit we extended it until the reception ended a little after midnight.
