I would highly recommend Jade from Uplift Photography. She's actually based in NY, but will travel to CT for weddings. She takes gorgeous/artsy pictures, and is super reasonable in pricing! I haven't found anyone with more value for the images.

I know of a husband and wife team from NY called Two Leaf Photography.
They are affordable and do good work. :) Check them out! :)

No I have not because I am a photographer myself and I'm from San Diego. I know 2 Leaf Photography because I know the girl photographer Christine and they are affordable. That's what you're asking right? :) My other friend who's getting married in June is hiring them though. He's flying them out from NY to San Francisco for his wedding.

Im sorry I dont really post much on here but I noticed your post and I thought I would mention my photographers. I am ussing a Company called K.M. PHotography. They are right out of Clinton and they also always use two photographers and give you the high res CD. Here is their link. HTH
I would highly recommend Heartprint Photography. They are based in Connecticut, and specialize in Lifestyle/photojournalistic photography. They offer collections but I know they will also design a package to fit any couple if you ask them too, and they are also very reasonable in pricing! I saw a really cool little mini wedding video they made and gave to the bride and groom to upload to their Myspace and Facebook pages, It was SO fun for her to let all her friends see the music video after the wedding on her facebook page. I think the video is even on Heartprint Photography's website in the wedding section under 'video gallery' if you want to see it. I have seen some of their other work as well and it is beautiful!

We are using KM Photography. We just had our engagement pictures done last Friday and other than my own nerves, it was a lot of fun! It is a photography team out of Clinton but they are coming up to Avon to shoot our ceremony and driving down to Southbury for our reception!

Can anyone recommend a good photographer in CT? We're looking for someone who shoots in the photojournalistic style but is not insanely expensive. We just want two photographers and the rights and possession of the high res digital photos. We are not interested in getting an album done. We're getting married in Middletown, CT (about 20 minutes outside of Hartford).
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!
