Skye Blu is my So. Cal favorite. She did several of my friends' weddings, all with fabulous results.
We are using Mark Brooke photographers...depends on your budget and style, but they are perfect for us!!

I just thought I'd let you know I went with Ohana Photography in San Diego, but I think we should keep this thread going for other OC Brides looking for a photographer.
I did look into every photographer recommended and they were all very professional and their pricing was reasonable (to me). I went with Ohana when I realized my wedding was in San Diego and it might be easier to have a SD photographer.

AliCherri1 -- thanks for the update. I think keeping a blog list of OC photgrapher is a great idea. I won't recommend my wedding photographer because I had a bad experience, but an earlier poster recommended Caroline Tran; Caroline did my boudoir photos and they are amazing, so I also recommend her. I met with Caroline Tran (nice girl, nice work :-) and I have big love for Christine Farah (she's over 3K for bare min though). I cannot say enough fabulous things about my photographer Marlin Munoz (www.marlinmunoz.com). He's a great photographer, extremely reliable, flexible, fun, and always smiling. He just shot my engagement photos in SF - they will be up on his blog this week :-) His prices rock too: 2K includes 8 hrs, engagement shoot, high res CD and a second shooter (his *awesome* wife Marlene).
As a photographer, I highly suggest meeting people in person as you should love their personality as much as you love their work. Also, some photographers are better than others at displaying their work on their web/blog. I really liked Marlin's work online but I LOVED it when he showed it to me in person.

For any other OC/LA brides out there, a good friend of mine used http://www.adriennegunde.com/ for her wedding last summer. Everyone loved Adrienne's photos and her rates were really reasonable too. She was super easygoing and fun to work with too!
