depends on what your limit is for "Expensive"... Nick Carter, based our of New Rochelle, seems to have shot loads of weddings all over the HV and is very reasonable. Aperture Studios, while being a bit farther north (I want to say they are based out of Saugerties or something like that), is also pretty reasonable.
I don't know in HV, but Dante Williams in Manhattan is great! I am pretty sure he travels and is reasonably priced.:-) Good luck!
I would check out Jade of Uplift Photography, who photographed my wedding two months ago. Not sure how our relative conceptions of pricing compare, but I thought she had incredibly reasonable prices, gorgeous work, and she was great to work with, along with her husband Tim who second shoots weddings with her!

I didn't use them but they came recommended from the photographer I wanted to use.
Also I have a friend from HS that does photography. I am not sure of her prices though and her work looks awesome!

Anyone have any suggestions for a good photographer in HV that's not too expensive? I know the pics are important but the buget is tight!
