I used Robert Mirani, and I couldn't be more pleased with his work! :) I'va also worked with and loved the work of Rachel Hadiashar of MERGE weddings for my after wedding shoot. Lastly, though I haven't worked with her... I love the work of Anne Ruthmann. She's just moved to the Boston area from Chicago this summer.
The ISPWP website has a good selection of photographers who service Boston and all of Massachusetts. You'll also be able to see a number of photographers who gladly travel to Boston. I hope that helps and good luck!
very photojournalistic style but still manages to do nice formal shots. he's also not afraid to do anything crazy to get the right shot. for our engagement photo he almost fell into the charles and dodged cars up and mass ave on the longfellow
I just wanted to update and let you all know that we chose our photographers!
We are using MKDPhotography ... www.mkdphotography.com ... they are a great, happy couple who are both amazing photographers. Mike and Kate Duval are the sweetest and we can't wait to use them.
I am going with Charley Bandes...I swear he's the second coming of Richard Avedon and VERY REASONABLE. OUr wedding's in May and I had him booked last August.
Does anyone have a photographer recommendation in the Boston area?

posted by robynplans 2 posts 2 months agoWe're using Erica Ferrone, she's young, enthusiastic and genuinely loves what she does. Some other favorites are Hinkley Photo and Parmar Photo.

But we did use Nette's fiance - www.johnlophoto.com for our engagements and they came out wonderful.
