Sean Mason is awesome and centered out of Pasadena CA. We had a very similar budget and he has been amazing. Just tell him what you can and cannot afford and he can create a custom package for you!
Also, Chad Nelson in San Diego is AMAZING! He was booked for our date but is VERY reasonably priced but so incredibly talented...Good luck!

Sandra Salisbury who is based in Los Angeles is very affordable and even offers albums for a great rate with most packages. She is so flexable and made our contract specific to our needs oh... and most importantly she takes amazing pictures. We booked her during our first meeting with her for our wedding next year.
we were also looking at Drew B Photography from orange county, but she is a bit out of our price range. but both had the style we ere looking for.

How many hours are you looking for and what do you expect for that price? I have a great photographer, but I got their most expensive package since I needed 12 hours and that would be out of your range. However, his other packages might work for you.
we're in the process of booking Ian Grant photography. He is based out of Playa Del Rey and he is definitely in your range.
We have 2 friends that are both photographers and using them both. Michael has been doing weddings for a while and Victoria is just starting out. Michael is very much in your price range and is VERY good!

We went with Julio Cesar (www.juliocesarphotography.com) He also did my MOH's wedding and we were very impressed with him, very professional and has a good eye and amazing shots.

I know he's very personal in his service and takes a lot of photos for you to choose from. Also does well with candid shots.
Vincent at Passionartphotography.com is amazing! He's actually based in the Bay Area but would travel down there in a heartbeat, and his packages would totally be in your price range! He and his wife did a phenomenal job for my wedding. I got the pics on Friday (talk about an amazing Valentine's present) and I was stunned with how amazing everything was. Check them out!!!

Hi hive members!!
For all of you that live in the Los Angeles and South Bay area, any recomendations on photographers? Anybody out there used someone in particular with reasonable prices?
Im looking to spend no more than 2500. Originally our budget was 3500 but i rather add the difference to our rings.
