I went with Blue Six Creative (www.bluesixcreative.com) and they are really nice to work with. Email them and ask Jason to help you. They are really flexible... but before that... take a look at their work and see if they are a good fit for you then go from there. Good luck

@fairytalebride: http://www.jenshootsweddings.com/ or email her at jenshootsweddings@gmail.com she has many packages to choose from most are under $3000 and that includes 2 photographers, unlimited places, unlimited time amount etc. I know her in real life and love her work, shes a 4th generation photographer, so it runs in her family too! Deffinately worth checking out, email her and she will get back to you pretty quickly, ive been emailing her and she has had excelllent communication. If you do decide to email her, let her know faithe sent you :P
Thank you for the suggestions, ladies.
The website for jenshootsweddings.com is not working :-(
@fairytalebride: ya i noticed that too, not sure why, i emailed her about it though, i say email her with any questions you have in the meantime. I told her about you :)
Thank you so much. That is so helpful!
I am going to e-mail her also.
Also Gail at http://imagelegacy.com/ is great and very reasonably priced. She volunteers at the Bride Project http://www.thebridesproject.com/
@fairytalebride I had a similarly bad experience with Blue Six Creative Photography, and found out later that they had a F rating at Best Business Bureau. To all brides to be, make sure you check out the Best Business Bureau website before you book with any vendors!!!!
Rob's an easygoing, approachable and helpful guy with an incredible eye & photography skill. His candid shots really capture feelings on film.
(oops - wow, this is an old board)

I'm a bit desperate here and going out on a limb... We are getting married in August. We had booked a photographer in June 2010... In December 2010 we got our engagement photos. We just received the photos and they are very very disappointing.
The quality is terrible. The editing is ridiculous... What she promised to do, she didn't and she did some very weird photoshop moves...
Anyway, we are back at square one... we threw out all the information we had about other photogs and the e-mails of communication with other photogs once we booked with this one and now I regret it so much.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a Toronto, Ontario based photographer?
Budget wise, we would like to stay under $3,000.
I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
