Have patience. You will get them soon.  Its still within a normal time frame but shame on her for getting your hopes up unnecessarily.  I love ice cream.

do you have a contract? if so, you need to bring this up. it’s really unprofessional to lie about deadlines, except for extenuating circumstances (i am a former photographer).

my example, my photog’s contract says my engagement pics will be 6-8 weeks. he promised in person 2-3. however, he’s going through chemo right now so i’m letting him take his time (and i know he’s not lying because we’re friends on fb and i see all his hospital pics). i know it’s not months like you’ve been waiting for, but you really should address this, since you probably already paid her, am i right?

Aw, I feel you. I’ve been that bride whose photos were delayed and who couldn’t breathe/eat/sleep until I saw my photos. I’m also a wedding photographer and know how CRAZY wedding season in the summer is! It truly is a lot of work! It sounds like she set unrealistic time expectations for you, but the delay also means that she is taking the time to make sure they are perfect. If you just can’t wait, just ask her to send you some more sneak peeks. Then you will know she is really working on them, and you can have something to look at until you get the rest!
