I think he would be close to your $2K for 8 hrs, 1 photographer and he gives you high res cds of all your images. If you like his site, tell him Lily recommended him :)
I'm not sure how far Uniontown, PA is from Philidelphia, but we found a great photographer there named Franklin Isabell (http://www.isabellphotography.com). Their wedding package is less than $2000 and includes everything it sounds like you want. They start when you start and will go all the way to 10pm (could be 12 hours or 4 hours--whatever you need). Their style is more photojournalistic than portrait, which I liked. They'll travel up to 500 miles round trip and you have unlimited reprint permissions. Our wedding is not until September, but after meeting with Franklin and seeing even more of his company's work, we knew he was a good pick for us. Definitely should check out the website! Good luck!
Hello! We booked Heather Fowler http://www.heatherfowlerphoto.com/. Our wedding is in October, we did our engagement shoot a few weeks ago and are thrilled with her work so far. I highly recommend her!
I also looked at Sandor Welsh http://www.sandorwelsh.com/ whose prices may be more in line with what you're looking for. I loved his work as well and it was a tough decision, but we're really happy with Heather.

I would 2nd the recommendation for Sandor, he's incredibly affordable and willing to work a la carte, and the quality of his work is that of veteran professional, martha stewart worthy ;)
we are going with onada from http://onadaphotography.net - she's slighty more expensive than your budger but her work is amazing and she has such a great personality. I also looked at cindy patrick, she's great as well.
I cannot reccommend Art and Bob from Candid Shooters enough! They did our engagement photos and were amazing to work with! They are based out of Telford/Schwenksville but are great about traveling.
carina and amanda from love me do photo. they're a bit different than your usual wedding photogs, and i love love love them.
i picked them because i liked them best. then realized they were the least expensive of everyone i researched!

Hey Ladies,
I wondered if anyone knows of a good (but reasonably priced) photographer in the area. I am just looking for one photographer for 8 hours that would be less than $2,000. I will not need an album or anything but I would like high resolution copies of the pictures in case I wanted to print a few pictures on my own. Thanks in advance for your help!
