For those of you looking for a photographer around the greater Pittsburgh and Eastern Ohio area, I would highly recommend the photographer we have booked for our wedding. Her name is Catherine McKinley and she is based out of the Akron/Cleveland area - and is willing to travel.
She has been such a pleasure to work with so far! We are out-of-towners and she has been so helpful in accomodating our crazy schedules. But more importantly - her work is AWESOME! Our wedding is in October 2008 - but we've had our engagement session so far and have been thrilled.

that's a great website. i'm working with this photographer pamela who is new to pittsburgh, just moved here from LA. her stuff is damn good but more of a photojournalist style. how was the engagement session? i was amazed at how easy it was to sit with pamela. i never thought i'd be so comfortable in front of the camera!!
I am using Reid Photography in Shadyside. He is very down to earth. Has packages that run the full range. Honestly, his website didn't do him justice but I went to meet w/ him and his albums and everything I saw in person was top notch. No time limits, gives you the hi-res images for no charge so you can do what you want with them. Very reasonable price for a high end kind of place.
