We're using Travis at White Lighthouse Photography! He used to work with my FI (as a photographer) and is amazing. I love the casual feel of his work, and how he is able to capture the details. Compared to other MA photographers he is super reasonable. If you like him let him know Luke & Shannon sent you!
One photographer that I absolutely loved was Bharat Parmar. He is out of Stoneham, MA but unfortunately was booked for my day.
Raw Photo Design... AMAZING!! This was our biggest slurge (he's NOT cheap) but does an amazing job-- we have gotten sooooo many compliments on our e-shots-- can't wait for him to shoot the wedding! If you like, let Eric know Sarah & Justin passed them along www.rawphotodesign.com

We used Erica Ferrone and were thrilled with her work. I'd also second Bharat Parmar (he shot my friend's wedding) and Hinkley Photo (they were booked for our date).
My photographer is Justin & Mary Marantz (www.justinmarantz.com) - they are out of New Haven, CT but will travel. They are traveling down to Philadelphia for my wedding. Their work is stunning.

Very affordable and also very good! We were able to get a 12x12 album and unlimited coverage for the day for around $2500. Oh, and did I mention we get the CD of the images as well! Some photographers wont offer that or make you wait a year to get them.

I highly recommend Sarah Edwards. She's based out of CT, but pretty much travels all over New England. She took our engagement photos, designed our Save the Date (She's also a graphic designer) and will be shooting at my wedding. Her style is photojournalistic and her prices are very reasonable. Plus, he is a professor with the UMaine system, so any photographers you find who went to USM in the last 20 years or so will have most likely been one of his students!

I booked an old coworker of mine. He's awesome and relatively cheap! For $1050 I got this:
* 2 photographers
* My FI and I will each have our own photographer for 2 hours while we get ready
* In addition to being there while we get ready, they will be taking pictures for 6 hours (from start of ceremony throughout the entire reception
* for $200 we get all rights to the edited cd of of all our photos in which we ca go make prints on our own (and save $$)
He is out of Holyoke...willing to travel in NE/MA area

*** Edit: We are also getting a small photo package (included in the $1050) that has a huge picture of us, plus many different sized smaller ones. He has many add on packages and different styles of photographing (color/back & white/sepia) He also does the rehearsal dinner and engagement sessions if necessary.

Hey, I have been looking for ever for a photographer that i will totally love for my MA wedding.
