Thanks for your help guys. I added photos to this post to make it more interesting.
Love your photos! We booked Michael for our October wedding and I can't wait to see what he comes up with! He's so nice and he likes scooters and the same music as us! :-)
Hey, great pics! Out of curiousity though, for that first photo, were you on the back of something that was moving (not likely because there is no wind in your hair) or did he photoshop you into that photo? I'm thinking Photoshop A.) because you are in the middle of a busy street, and B.) Just technically, there is no other way to do it to my knowledge.
I love the light in the second photo. It looks natural and beautiful.
fantabulous! that first pic has so much vivid action! love it!!
I am going to assume the photographer used a flash to freeze the action, and zoomed quickly during a longer exposure (probably 1/10 or 1/15 of a second) to get that blurred movement effect.
That black and white picture is fabulous, you two look so "in the moment." =)
(Love your dress, too!)
@LBPhotography - Michael didn't photoshop us, he just did a long exposure. We had to stay very still and hold it for a few seconds.
We were in the median on Michigan Ave in Chicago. It is a busy street, but so busy that sometimes the cars were at a standstill. We were out there for a little bit until the traffic started moving and we could get this shot.
Thanks for the nice comments.
@Robert, thanks for the feedback, yeah, that would work... didnt even think of it. Maybe I'll try it sometime!

I wanted to do an official vendor review for my fabulous photographer, Michael Rastall. (www.rastallphoto.com)
Most importantly, the photos are amazing! I love, love, love them. I have spent way too much time this past week staring at them. It's so hard to choose favorites. He completely captured the emotions of our wedding day. I relive the day every time I look at them.
Not only am I so, so happy with the photos, but he is such a great guy. I felt so comfortable with him all day. Sometimes I didn't even notice him around. He got every shot I could have possibly wanted - I don't know how he did it! He did a nice mixture of photojournalistic style and formal/posed style (which is exactly what I requested). Additionally, he stayed about 2 hours extra (beyond what we paid) shooting more of the dancing. He is affordable and just so amazing. I give him the highest possible recommendation.
If you haven't booked your photographer, you must book Michael!!
I'm going to try to upload a photo or two, but I am so bad at uploading to WB's boards.
