Are you getting charged more? What exactly are you upset about?

Uhh… as long as he didn’t suddenly jump the price I would be excited to have a second shooter.

@chasesgirl:  I think what she’s saying is that she’s NOT getting the second shooter?

OP, how did you find this out? Have you spoken to him about it?

@RoyalPurpleBride:  You just found this out via the website? If you haven’t talked to him and confirmed that he’s “doing this to you,” I wouldn’t worry about it, because if you a signed a contract, you’re supposed to be guaranteed the exact services you paid for at the price agreed upon. nothing more, nothing less.

Maybe he didn’t have a second photographer when you booked your contract with him and has since hired one?  I’m not sure why you feel “jipped” if he hasn’t changed YOUR package or price?

I’m really confused. Why are you upset about getting what you wanted?

I understand why you would feel jipped.  I mean after all, other brides are getting a second shooter for the same price as you are for just an assistant.  I would talk to him again and explain (calmly) about how you would really appreciate the second shooter and how you have already used so much of his/her services.  Besides that, I don’t think there is anything else you can do about it since he didn’t really do anything to break your contract.

@RoyalPurpleBride:  Alright, i think I’m finally understanding….Is this what you’re trying to say?:

You booked a package for $3000, which included the photographer and an assistant.

You now see on the website that the photographer is offering the same package, but in place of  “assistant” there is now a “second shooter”, (for $3000, I’m assuming).

You feel ripped off because if you would have booked now, you’d be getting a second shooter for the $3000.

Is that what you’re trying to say?

When I initially read your post, I thought the photographer had actually changed YOUR package, as in changed the terms of the agreement you’d made/signed when you booked.
