The Wiebners.... www.thewiebners.com .... Their prices have increased since I booked them way back in March of 2007, but their work is stunning and I couldn't resist their awesome style! I'm also having Alison Conklin photograph our rehearsal dinner -- she did an amazing job at my mom's wedding in February. Laura Novak and Marie Labbancz are also amongst the best in the biz in Philly, if they're in your budget :-)
Her prices are reasonable, I love her work, and she's been easy to communicate with, so far. She has a Philadelphia office, but her business is based out of New York, so no sales tax! Good luck.
One of my best friends, Laura Kicey (www.laurakicey) will be taking our photos with her equally-talented photography assistant boyfriend, Michael Alan Goldberg (www.mabphoto.org). She's super reasonable and I know I'll be comfortable with them following us around all day since we're close friends :)
Creative Images www.onlycreativeimages.com They're in Chalfont. I know a couple of people who used them and were happy and I liked their work when I met with them.
I hired Sarah DiCicco (http://www.sarahdicicco.com). An acquaintance who's a professional photographer (not for weddings) recommended her. I did like her work, but I also liked the work of a few others. Then I met Sarah, and it was immediately clear that she was The One. I spoke with two other photogs--one seemed kind of pushy and the other one was kind of snobbish. Sarah seems like the perfect combo of sweet and assertive, and I'm actually looking forward to having her (and her equally nice husband) around all day. She's based in Wayne.
I'm using Jen Cody and Sam Taylor from egomedia photography (www.egomediaphotography.com). I discovered them when we went to visit Sofitel and they showed us a sample album from egomedia that showcased a wedding at their hotel. Me and the fiance were floored. We wanted to take the album home with us even though they were pics of total strangers. The texture and color of each picture was just utterly stunning. We met up at our venue in Philly in torrential rains and were thrilled that they were so cool.
Have you called Dollface Studios? Siobhan and Darah are unbelievable! Their work speaks for itself. www.dollfacestudio.com. They have done many diverse weddings and they travel.
my fiance is a wedding photographer (www.martelliphotography.com) so that was the easiest decision we had to make....his photography teacher from college and mentor, robert wood photography. He does amazing wedding photography as does my soon to be hubby!
I am also a little late on this post (ok super late) but I want to do some bragging on behalf of my photographer who I absolutely adore. Jim Harris. jimharrisstudios.com is the website. Check it out. I highly recommend him and can send photos from my wedding or tell you more about my experience if you like.
Who is everyone using for their wedding day photography?

Not only did she do a phenomenal job (I can email you our webpage), but she is also just an awesome human being. :)
