Anyone have any photographer recommendations in Philadelphia area? People you liked working with, who offered great packages - looking for documentary style with portraits.

Also, any idea what the difference is between booking a photographer vendor who has 2 photographers or 1 photographer and 1 assistant?

I loved working with our photographer, Daniel McGarrity. On our wedding he brought a very wonderful assistant. He is based out of Baltimore, but travels to Phila no extra charge. Good luck!

Whomever you choose, make sure you set up a meeting with them first to make sure your personalities mesh well!

The difference between 2 photographers vs 1 photographer and 1 assistant is that with 2 photographers, you have two people shooting continously throughout your wedding. An assistant is mostly helps the photographer with packing, lugging, carrying, handling his/her equipments (gears and lighting stuff). An assistant does not necessarily shoot on the day of.
