@elizabethsa345:  We used First Blush Photography, they were really reasonably priced and did a nice job.

Whatever you do, don’t use George Street.

Their prices seem great and reasonable. That’s why they get any business, but it’s just not work the money for the hassle. Customer service and sales are really really nice to you, but as soon as they get your money it’s hard to get anyone to follow up on any questions. Also their photographers come from a bullpen of different people who mostly do some photography “on the side” so you never know who you are going to get and if they are really any good.

@elizabethsa345:  Did you decide on a photographer?

I am having a hard time looking..all the ones I like are 3-4K which is a little over budget…but I keep hearing mixed reviews of studio photogs like Essence, Cornerstone ect

@MrsJX3:  Thanks for the reccomendation ( even though it technically wasn’t for me haha ). Picking a photographer is stressing me out. 🙁 Did they have 2 photographers at your wedding?

Thanks!

@Boxerlover24:  They did!!  It’s weird, they are based out of Chicago and Philly, they are a two person team and they meet at wherever they are shooting that weekend.

For videography, we didn’t want to spend the money.  We just had friends tape things.  It worked out just fine.

@MrsJX3:  Awesome! Yeah we probably wont have a videographer either, as long as the pictures are good I really don’t need video

I emailed them for a rate 🙂 I really like their pics online ,they look just as nice as some of the uber expensive photogs. Did they direct you and hubby in poses and stuff?

@Boxerlover24:  They did!!  They’re pretty artsy and such.  If you want to see my pictures to get a better idea, let me know.  I think all together we spent about 2000.

@Boxerlover24:  You’ve got it, I’ll PM them to you.  As much as I love the bee, I like to keep my privacy.  🙂

We haven’t had our wedding yet, but I love our photographer so far, Teresa Dalbera Photography.  She’s just starting out and building her portfolio, but she has been great to work with.

@elizabethsa345:  My photographer is down in the Peoria but he’s a really nice guy. I think he travels. Nick Goodin Photography. Our engagement pictures were really neat, haven’t gotten to take out wedding pictures yet. He’s very reasonable. 🙂

@elizabethsa345:  I just booked Vanilla Video (vanillavideo.com) for my wedding am really excited to use them. They had strong reviews on yelp and it will cost me $500. I was on a strict budget and felt that if I had a good photographer, I would only need video of the ceremony and a little bit of the reception. They don’t do all the cinematic stuff, but they have professional equipment.
