I don’t have any pictures- just wanted to say I adore your idea! That will be an awesome and different color scheme!

David’s has a color called Tangerine.  It’s a very orangey orange.  They also have Guava which I’m using. (see below)

How many girls do you have?  I”ve always loved the idea of several shades of a color if you have enough bm’s to pull it off.

I just went to a wedding with orange bridesmaids! They wore David’s Bridal dresses in ‘tangerine’. http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Short-Cotton-Dress-with-Y-Neck-and-Skirt-Pleating-83690_Bridal-Party-Bridesmaids-All-Bridesmaid-Dresses It looked bright/summery and not at all ‘pumpkin/fall’.  She had it paired with yellow.

This isn’t one of her photos, but this photo looks ‘true to color’.

ok, please don’t take this the wrong way, as I am just repeating something a friend told me as advice. but ….I was going to do orange and then my bridesmaid who is also very into photography told me to choose either pastel or a darker colour because…the orange is a really poping / foreground color and will draw the eye in all of the photos. i was surprised she thought of this, but then i looked at some pics and agreed. if you go with organge, i’d pick a softer orange, or a lighter orange instead of a bright orange. just my two cents.

I’m also debating between these colors for my May wedding! I’m leaning towards tangelo, it’s more of a dreamsicle color, where the David’s bridal swatches in store are BRIGHT. So I think I’ve made my decision but we will see of my girls like the Alfred Angelo dresses

rel318:  i really like the flowers in that picture … the sunflowers and daisies totally match the dress.  the tangerine color is absolutely beautiful, but I personally find it bright. I just wanted to point out things from a photography point of view…have you hired a photographer yet? maybe you could ask them…

Idk, I think orange is a really tricky color to pull off.

rel318:  I think that the colors really vary by fabric too. So be sure to consider that.
