@lampshade127: Can you ask your photographer to do it possibly? Technically no one else has the rights to edit an image they didn't take. I'm sure your photographer would help you out, especially if it's just one image.

Like BeeM said, you need to make sure you have the rights for someone else to edit these, otherwise go to your photog. You can always just ask her/him if they are comfortable with letting someone else edit these or if they are willing to do it.
Yes, as part of my contract with the photographer, I received all of my high resolution images with copyright release a year after my wedding. As I was told, they are now mine to do with as I wish. I feel uncomfortable asking the photographer to fix it as the images are all kind of my responsibility now. This shows the icing malfunction.

i will try it, i have done this kind of thing before with success but i am not promissing but i will try. it LOOKS easy enough, and i will try
well i tried it and they are not full res files, but it will work if i had the proper files. this is what i did to the file i downloaded from off here. it would be much better from proper sized file. although not perfect , its better than a broken cake maybe.
a much better job could be done with the hi res file. 
Honestly, I would of never noticed until you pointed it out. I would use the image as is, no one is going to notice.

I just received all of the pictures from my wedding (we had to wait a year for digital images). The only photos of my cake show where some of the frosting started to fall off. Would anyone be able to copy the frosting back on for me? Pretty please, help me...
