Does anyone have a picture of a 3mm band on their finger? Its really hard to figure out how big it is just looking at the ring itself. I’m had been thinking of getting the 2mm, but it looks like Blue Nile only engraves 3mm and up, but I didn’t know how big that’d look.

I don’t have a picture, but both my engagement ring and wedding band are 2mm. I talked to the jewelery store about engraving, and they told me they could put the date (in numbers, not words) on the ring, but nothing else would fit.
Could you go to a local jewelery store just to try on some bands and see which one you prefer?

I am not exactly sure what size my engagement band is…it is in the 2.5 to 3 mm range I think. Hopefully the picture attached…my finger is a 4.75, so I have small fingers and thought I wanted a thinner band. When I went to try some on with my FI, I realized I liked the thicker band much better! I know it sounds like 3 mm is so thick compared to a 2 mm or less, but I LOVE my ring and am so glad he bought this one!

I have a 3 mm Blue Nile comfort fit ring. I tried a 2 mm and a 3 mm in person before ordering from Blue Nile, and I liked that it’s just a little thicker but not overwhelming.
My e ring is 2 mm for reference, and my rings are size 5 1/2. The picture with the flower shows a little of the engraving we got on our rings, and it goes across most of the width of the band.
Blue Nile is also great about returns/exchanges. I had to return my first ring to get a size down, and they just charge you the engraving fee a second time but no other charges.

You should go try some bands on. Even rings the same width look different when the styles differ. Sometimes the design makes the ring look smaller, or the shine can make a thin band stand out.

3 mm seems pretty big on me. My wood ring is 3 mm… (Its the one on the top), My engagement ring is 2 mm (its the one on the bottom).
