Its between 1 and 2 for me. I really like #2 though. I love the limes and the addition of other flowers, it adds dimension.
I like 1 and 5. I love the look of the square vase better than the more traditional vase shape though so I voted for 1.
I like option # 2 Green mums mixed with white roses just the right mixture.. very pretty.
I've always preferred the look of just one type of flower in a centerpiece, rather than a mix of several different ones. Therefore, my vote is for option 1.
I'm obviously biased
but glad I could help with some inspiration. Good luck! Any would look fabulous
@ Mrs Espresso - Thanks for the inspiration! I love the mix of the wite spider mums with the green button mums. I can't really tell from this picture, but what other flowers did you use?
PS we are hanging cafe lights too!
To tell you the truth... I'm not really sure what the names of all of them are- but I know we used babys breath, white dasies, ivory roses, spider mums, button mums, hydrangeas, carnations and white snapdragons.
I did a post on all of them here: http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/11/03/wholesale-wedding-flowers/
At least you can get a closer look of them here.
Hope this helps! And I love that you're using the cafe lighting! :)
I like #1, it's very modern and reminds me of bonsai for some reason. :)
If you are doing brown tablecloths in a darkish room, I suggest that you choose a centerpiece with at least some white in it to brighten things up a bit. I think that is why I like the last one best.
I think the tightly packed lime green mums are really clean and modern looking!
I'm doing spider mums, hydrangias, and calla lilies! The spider mums are my fave and lime is great. Nice work :)
I really like #1. I like the simplicity of having just the spider mums. And I really like the square vase. Beautiful!
This weekend my mom ordered a mock up from the florist:

These are in a small square vase ($8) and have two gree fuji mums, some green buttom mums and lots of green and white caspia. They also threw in a white carnation at the last minute to try to add some white! I am not a huge fan of the carnation in there, but may play with either the white carnations or white hydrangeas still.
I think our publix supermarket florist is charging $13 plus whatever white flower we decide to add. Hopefully it will be about $15 for each. We have to buy/supply the vases which is fine with us because hopefully we can get a good deal and keep/sell them afterwards.

We are having our reception here with brown table clothes on round tables. We will have 22 tables that need centerpieces.
Option 1: 5-7 Green Mums packed tightly into a square vase.
Option 2: 2-3 Green Mums, Several Button Mums, and 2-3 White Roses
EDIT: We would not be using the limes, probably river rock or something similar

Option 3: 2-3 Green Mums, Several Button Mums, and some white hydrangea
Option 4: Big mix of flowers, use white mums and green button mums, babys breath, carnations, and roses. These are the centerpieces Mrs. Espresso used.
Option 5:This actually is a football mum, but this might be cheaper and it incorporates the hypericum berries we are using in the bouts and bouquets.
