I’m so excited, we FINALLY decided on a caterer! We tried several, and fell in love with the food and presentation and basically everything about Endive. BUT, their quote was almost $1000 more than the next highest. Don’t get me wrong, I think they would be worth every penny, but we didn’t have enough pennies to make it happen. After some emailing back and forth (and encouragement from our DOC), they just sent me a new proposal that is $600 cheaper, and therefore affordable!!!
This particular decision has been weighing on me, and it feels SO good to have it settled, and in such a lovely way! Now we just have to decide between options like “Belgian endive leaf stuffed with montachet goat cheese, sun dried tomato, dried fruits and basil” and “thin crust pizza topped with duck confit, carmalized onions, fig preserves, roquefort blue cheese, white truffle oil and roasted garlic.”
Swoon. I’m so happy with this decision. I mean, they’re giving us kids meals for FREE! Any decisions you guys have made recently that just make the whole shebang seem easier and more fun?
