I love my seamstress! She took my dress in from a bridal size 10 to fit my street size 2 body. And she created this amazing bustle... I'm in love! I can't wait to wear it... only 85 more days till the big day! Just HAD to share this with the hive. What do yall think?? :)

I believe I asked you before but who was your seamstress again - was it Mahtab? And I'm just curious how long your did alteration take? I'd never know that was originally four sizes too big.

LOVE IT! Is that the Melissa Sweet Lia or the Marisa? I have the Lia - both are SO BEAUTIFUL. Can I ask if you had cups sewn in? I think I am going to do that for mine as the back is a little low. I am also not gifted in the upper region so I'll need the extra padding, haha! Also, is that a typical French bustle, or something she made up?

I heart your seamstress as well - - YOWZA that dress fits you like a glove. Perfect - I think seamstresss are the most magical people. I mean talk about making us feel so beautiful. You look stunning in that dress and that bustle is indeed GORG!!!!!!

Lemme try to answer some of the above questions:
@meliss: My seamstress IS Mahtab! She is so AMAZING to work with-- and the nicest lady too! She's done like, literally thousands of wedding gowns (been in the biz 20+ years). I had 2 fittings, so in total, it took about a month? But I don't think she needed that much time. It was mostly a matter of working with MY schedule and availability.
@WendyS328: I actually got it brand new off of preownedweddingdresses.com. This local girl was selling it (maybe she was a 2-dress bride, I dunno... I didn't ask). But I went to her house to try it on and I fell in love. :)
@elaineathon: Yes it's the Marisa 726 gown-- good eye! I do have cups sewn in (I'm not wearing a bra in the above pics)... and I'm not well-endowed either, haha. They work really well for both support and extra oomph, lol! As for the bustle, I'm not sure if it's a traditional French or something she came up with. She told me that she'd done the dress before (it's quite popular), so she was experienced with it.

@Joshs Girl: Didn't see your post till after I wrote the one above. Your question is not rude at all... I'm happy to help. It cost me $250 for taking in from bridal size 10 to street size 2, an inner support strap, bra cups, and bustle. :)
