Hi everyone! Like many others, I’ve had a tough time deciding on a dress, but I think I’ve finally found the one. This process has been tough and I’m still not 100% sure, but I’m getting close to the order deadline, so I have no choice but to order soon. I think I won’t wear a belt for the ceremony, but I’ll add a bling belt (pictured below) for the reception. What are your thoughts ladies? Would love that last bit of confidence to book the order! It’s Annabel from Oscar de la Renta.
(I’m not this tall, I wish though! )
Folded up the bottom of the dress to get a better idea of what it’d look like on my height

What a wonderful and stunningly simple dress!

Stunning! Looks great on you!

boboJ: stunning. Id skip the belt altogether. I think it detracts from the simplicity and elegance of the gown. Not every dress needs a belt or a sash. It’s perfect as is.

i love how simple this dress is! beautiful!

What do you love about it and what do you have reservations about? Are there any other contenders?

Thank you everyone! I really, really appreciate your positive comments.
VivienMarcheline: Hi Vivien! Although I think the beauty is in the simplicity, sometimes I worry it’s not “special” enough because it’s so simple. It’s tough to justify such an expensive dress when there’s not much to it. I’ve considered adding a removable lace top like this for the ceremony to give it more detail, but at that point, I’d have to question why I’m even buying this dress if I want to add to it. The only contender at this point is to get a dress made. It would have a similar look, but maybe some more detail (such as the lace top, which she could make).

I think it is stunning !! Love the design and how it fits you ! If I was at your wedding, my jaw would drop when you walked in !

Definitely pretty but I’m with you, I would never buy an expensive dress that I felt I had to add to, have you tried Carolina herrara or Vera wang ? All in your price range based on the ODLR.

that gorgeous dress maybe makes your bust area a bit odd. but that s my opinion though.. it s a stunning dress anyways!

boboJ: You have a great figure, and you look gorgeous! However, I personally would not choose such a plain dress – in my brain, wedding dress = beautiful details. It sounds like you want a little more detail, too, and that’s fine! Try to get whatever makes you happiest:)
