What a beautiful wedding dress! I actually think the Jcrew dress goes better with your dress, just because they seem to have the same sort of "floaty" feeling, if that makes any sense. However, I think the blue Alfred Angelo is my fave dress out of the three - I think you're right about it being more flattering on everyone, and it just seems like a cute, fun style.
They're all very cute, but I like the first style just slightly better. It would also be nice to have two in each color because then your BMs could figure out which color they like best or look best in. And I think any of them could be worn again--they don't look "bridesmaidy." (I wish I'd been able to wear any of them as a BM!) So I think you can't go wrong either way. If you don't have a clear favorite, it might be best to let them vote on it. Also, the price might make a difference--are they about the same?
The J. Crew one is a bit pricier, but I get 20% email coupons from them every so often, so if I waited for one of those and ordered them for everyone at the same time, they would be about the same price.
I'm happy to hear that you don't think they look "bridesmaidy"... I think they're both super cute, but sometimes I wonder if I'm losing perspective because I'm so immersed in this stuff at the moment. :)
The J. Crew dress looks like its for mature (age wise) BM and a little too casual compared to your dress. The AA dresses are really pretty.
Hmmm interesting... I hadn't thought of the J. Crew dress as more mature, but yes I suppose it is.
Okay, the poll is tied right now with 5 votes each for all robin's blue or 2 blue/2 lettuce... I need a tie-breaker!

So I'm at the 6-month mark and I'm really wanting to finalize the BM dress decisions as soon as I can. For some reason I'm being horribly indecisive about this. I'm having 4 bridesmaids (no MOH) and only one of them really lives close to me, so she's the one who went shopping with me and tried stuff on. The other 3 have been getting lots of dress pictures via email. :)
At this point, I'm just feeling like I need some outside opinions from people who aren't in my wedding! So here are the options we've narrowed it down to.
BM tried this dress on (Alfred Angelo 7016s) and we both felt that it was very flattering, very cute, and fits the "feel" of my outdoor-summer-tent-wedding very nicely. My colors are robin's egg blue and some yet-to-be-determined shade of green. I was originally only considering this dress in robin's egg blue, then I discovered the light green "lettuce" color and decided that I like that one too.
SO now I'm wondering how it might look to do 2 BMs in blue and 2 in lettuce. They are very complementary colors... the actual swatches are a little different than they look here (the blue is more subdued in person). But when I first suggested this to my mom she acted like that was kind of a weird idea. :) So I don't know!
Then we have my other love... the J. Crew "Sophia" dress in Dusty Shale. I ordered one of these dresses online to see what it looked like in person, and it's very pretty. However, the color is definitely much darker and much more of an aqua/green than it looks here. The main thing I prefer about this dress is that it looks like something you could wear again and again. One of my other BMs made that comment too. But the color is not exactly what I wanted, and I'm not sure the style will be as flattering on everyone as the Alfred Angelo one.
siiiigh... Sorry this is so crazy long. :) But I will truly, truly appreciate any thoughts or opinions. Oh and here is a pic of my dress... one thing I like about the Alfred Angelo BM dress is that I feel that it kind of "goes with" the look of my dress a little better than the J. Crew one. hmmm...
