So as many of you know, I am already married, we got married in 2009 with only our parents present and at our local city hall.

This year we decided we wanted to get married at our Catholic church so that our marriage may be recognized (since we are both Catholic). At first we were planning on having a reception (renting a hall w the whole wedding usuals). However, after really realizing that financially we arent in a situation to be able to comfortably save for it, including having to pay A LOT of taxes this year .. we decided we would just have the ceremony (maybe around 1pm) and then head everyone towards a local park after (we can rent a little gazebo in the park) and just decorate it nicely, rent a jumper for the kids, have cake and a taquero (a man that sets up a taco stand on the spot and its all you can eat, order what you want, for about 2-4 hours) & just have everyone dressed super casual.

does anyone have any other ideas of what to include, or does this sound too weird?

im also planning on just wearing a summery boho looking dress although havent found anything. (it would take place JUNE 4 2011 & in sunny San Diego)

hmmm, if you are okay with how casual with it, than so be it! :)

but to me personally, when I hear "catholic church wedding" I automatically think of something more formal and traditional. Perhaps thats just because of what I am use to.
