Hi Bees!
I just wanted to share some pro-pictures from our recent wedding - we were hardcore DIYers for the past 3 years to make this happen! Literally everything pictured was handmade by us or our family/friend! It's amazing what a few trips to Lowe's or a hardware store can do for a wedding! Just thought some of the photos might help spark ideas... I'm happy to answer questions...and I'll be selling a few of the items too if anyone is interested - mainly the escort card clothesline and the just married sign. I posted on the Flowers board too with a few extra details on diy-ing the flowers if anyone is interested in those notes. Hope this helps someone! This website saved my little bride soul while I was planning!!!

Ah, I love them! I adore white pumpkins. If we hadn't timed our wedding for a summer event, I would have *loved* a fall wedding. So pretty! You and your family/friends are so talented!

What is covering the pot of the mum? Is it burlap tied w/twine? I like it. Rustic. I"m getting married next October so I really like what you did.

You all are too kind!! Thank you so much! Its awesome to share this with other brides who appreciate details as much as I do! Everything really turned out better than we even hoped and it was FUN!! Let's see if I can answer some questions...
The dress is by Sottero and Midgley the item number is ASM something.... It is a daily battle not to wear it to work, while I cook, work out, sleep...
The flowers are from fiftyflowers.com (carnations and dahlias) and flowerbud.com (mini callas)
And what exactly did I make...oh boy...well I didn't weave the table clothes but that's about it. We built all the centerpieces boxes, the wooden table numbers, the just married sign, some of the crates for the cupcakes, the wreath at the church, the pew bows, the boutineers, the ring bearer pillows, the programs. Seriously, 3 years is a really long engagement so we just did a bit at a time.
And yes that's just burlap and twine around the mums! Just wrap and tie! So easy a man can do it :) Burlap is cheap by the yard, we bought a lot and put it where ever we could - it was much more affordable to use squares of burlap on the tables then buy or rent any type of table runner. I'm sure you could do that with lots of fabrics!
