Thank you to all who helped me with the poll a few days ago. Turns out that I fell in love with the dress that actually won the poll LOL.
I was able to exvchange my first dress, slip, and return the bra (need to order a lower back bra) and purchase this dress and a fit and flare slip today. I am so in love with it in person. Pics do not do it justice. Plus I look like 10 lbs heavier in these pics than in person!
Should I add a plain ivory sash to the waist to define it more?
Model wearing the dress in white. You can see better detail of the dress here than on my personal pics:

Hi, your dress is lovely and it suits you beautifully !! I voted no to a sash. You have a petite hourglass figure but like me, you’re not very tall. If you ensure the dress is a perfect fit over the B, W, H then I don’t think you should have anything interrupting the flow of that gorgeous lace down the front and the row of buttons up the back.
The flow of lace gives you height and elegance. The fit and flare look of the dress already gives you lovely waist definition.

@jessyrez: Congrats on finding your dress. I voted no sash as I think it would detract away from the detail both front and back of your dress

@jessyrez: I voted no to the sash. I’m only commentung to let you know that I think the dress looks better on you than the model.

Awe thanks ladies! I am trying so hard to tone up. Especially my arms and my midsection. I lost 12 lbs so far.

No Sash! I think with the birdacage headpiece a sash would throw off the look your going for 🙂 Beautiful!

I think it looks better on you than it does on the model! Not that you asked, but…..

This dress is breathtaking.

No sash, I think with the top of the dress as it is that would be too much of a distraction to add more to it. And as I said in yoru other poll, the headpiece is gorgeous and looking at the pic again I have to second that thought here too =)

Hello fellow 30 something bride! I love it! And I agree with the no sash option.

THIS DRESS IS STUNNING. This was the dress I couldn’t get out of my mind even though know it’s wildly inappropriate for my wedding. Congrats. You look amazing. I personally liked the dress more with a sash. 🙂

Definitely no sash!! It waill take away from the top and the back of your dress, and that is a gorgeous feature part of it (aside from you of course!) 🙂 Goregeous!!
