Pics of diamond halo engagement rings with sapphire or diamond/sapphire bands?

I don’t have a blue sapphire but I do have a cushion cut peach champagne sapphire in a micropave diamond halo. I didn’t want a matching diamond wedding band so I chose a plain rose gold band with flower detailing. I think a solid metal helps the center stone to stand out against all the little diamonds in the halo but I’m sure a little band with additional sapphires would look great also! Do you have a setting picked out already?

Round stone but the four prongs make it look cushion esque 🙂 Rubies not sapphires but maybe you will get an idea? I think it will look wonderful!

AHart77: Thanks! I know rose gold isn’t for everyone and tends to look better on olive or warmer skin tones. White gold will look wonderful on you! i would highly recommend etsy if you are are looking for something unique for a wedding band. They have some amazing pieces on there and could probably even customize something to go with your engagement ring you already have picked out 🙂

AHart77:  Mine is a moissanite, but it is a cushion-shaped halo with a round OEC center.  I was torn between a cushion center and a round center and I found an OEC that I fell in love with.  If you love the chunky facets of a cushion, you’ll love the effect an OEC has in a rounded-cushion halo. I am in the process of uploading photos to my computer of my ring (I’m newly engaged), but I will post a photo here when I get my phone connected.

Its not sapphire, but this will show you an idea about your options for a cushion halo while it’s in low-lighting. I love your idea for a blue sapphire halo, and I personally think you can never go wrong with the combination of diamonds. I myself am looking into getting blue sapphires with my wedding band, haha.
