I just got the rest of my bridal portrait pics... so I thought I would share pics of my dress. I designed it and had a seamstress make it. I wanted something very vintage... I love it!

It looks a little wrinkly in some of them... but I am very happy!!!

:) Thanks guys! Weddingbee is the BEST ego boost ever. I sort of felt like a giant lace covered thing... and wished that I had lost more weight, but you ladies make me feel GORGEOUS in it! Thanks!

It looks beautiful!! Did you say that a family friend help make that for you!?! They did an awesome job!! Do you think that you saved a lot of money making a custom dress or was the material just as expensive!? I was just wondering!!! Beautiful pictures too!

Thanks for all the love!

I made the bouquet (I got totally inspired by the diy ribbon bouquets here on WB). About saving money- I don't think I did. It would up costing about $1200. But 600 of that was the fabric (which could have been a lot cheaper if I wanted white lace instead of gold lace, but the only gold lace I liked that wasn't liberace-esque was REALLY prices) and the dress maker (a family friend) spent a ton of time handsewing all the lace on the bodice and the bottom of the dress... so I seriously owe her more than the $600 she asked for.

So overall, I could have gotten a dress that was just as nice for cheaper, but I love my dress- and no one has the same thing AND it was made to fit me- so I think it was worth it!

Your dress is way gorgeous! I love that it has those pretty lace sleeves and yet you're rocking some serious cleavage =]. It's very glamorous and yet vintage...i just love it. And I dont normally love vintage or lace or sleeves! HA! So that says a lot right there =]

Jingle- after he took them down, I called my FI to make sure he didn't see them. I think everything is fine. My photographer e-mailed the REST of the pictures straight to me, not posted anywhere!!! thank GOD!

I love it how I was so pissed about them being on facebook, but here I am posting them all over WB!!!

Haha...WB is a different story!! You didn't give permission for your photographer to post it on FB (of all places) and that wasn't right! But I'm glad you shared it with us on WB, their gorgeous!
