I dont have a christmas tree here at work but I dont like seeing people being sad... so I drew a picture of my ring on an ornament.
I dont have a picture of my ring with an ornament :( but i have pictures of my favorite ornaments.
first one came from pinterest, im sure people have seen it before but i love it! its our wedding invitation. I made these for all the weddings i attended this year as well as one for us. the second one my mother gave to me a few weekends ago. it says "our first christmas"
@totheislnds Are there any special instructions to make that ornament? (i.e. way you cut up your invite) I LOVE IT!
I don't have any pictures of my ring and ornament together, but I do have a pic of my favorite ornament...

@Fricky: thanks! i really love it and they make great gifts for weddings! my cousin loved his, he took a picture of it and sent it to me the other day hanging on their tree. the clear ornaments are cheap and plastic - you can get them at michaels.
Here is the link for the invitation ornament! its really easy - just cut horizontal lines on your invitation and curl them around a pen or a straw.

This ornament never hangs on the tree, but it looks just like our dog that passed in January :-(
And lastly, our ornament from last year with the names of the dogs we no longer have :-( Still a pretty ornament. This year's ornament will have the name of the puppy we rescued!
@Carliej01: These are awesome!!! Where did you get the last one??? We just lost our family dog that grew up with us on November 14th, 2009.... =( It was so hard...my dad had to put him down and they were really close all these years...=(
I got one! It's maybe not my favorite ornament, but we're just starting our ornament collection. We ordered an engagement ornament yesterday so I'll post again when I have it!!
I love these! I don't have a favorite ornament yet, we're starting an ornament exchange this year so I'll have one (or two) good ones on Christmas! Here's some pics of my ring on my favorite ornament for now, and also stuck in my tree, I didn't realize that the disco ball ornament would cause such a glare though LOL. Sidenote: The looks I got from my FI when he wandered into the living room to see me snapping closeup pics of our tree with my phone last night were priceless!!
I was just thinking of taking some of these when I get home! My ring is soooo sparkly by the light of the tree, omg. Posting here so I can get back to the thread later and upload my pictures!

@Dolldancer8: I'm not sure of the name of the place where we got the ornament. It was one of those little kiosks in the middle of the mall... I think most malls have them you just kind of have to search around through all the stands, and they customize them while you shop. I'm sorry about your family dog :-( It's always sad when lose a member of the family. We have pictures of Lita up, and it still brings us to tears to talk about her... Buuut we rescued a mutt after a couple months (it was actually our anniversary gift to each other), and we couldn't be happier! There is really nothing like the unconditional love they give. <3

I keep meaning to take a picture, but I keep getting distracted by how sparkly my ring is by the tree. No lie. I have a sparkle addiction.

This is a new favorite ornament - it's one of the two birds we had as cake toppers on our wedding cake!

what an adorable idea for a post! loved all these! i'd never seen so many versions of engagement ornaments! so cute!!! wish i'd known about them when i was engaged! heehee!
