My FI takes amazing photos of nature (they're not cheesy, they're artistic & really good) & we wanted to give them out as favors. In the past we've given his photos as Christmas gifts and we've got them hanging in our home. We were thinking about putting them in those wire photo holders and/or using them as part of our escort cards. BUT, after reading about how much people love food as favors, I'm having 2nd thoughts. So I've got 2 questions on my brain:

1. Would you keep a picture from a wedding or end up tossing it?

2. Should we put them in wire holders or something sturdier?

If it was a nature photo, I would love it! My FSIL is an amazing amateur photographer & she sends me pics from time to time that I frame because I love them so much.
I would love that as a favor!

I think that if the photos are a reflection of you as a couple, it's a really nice favor. What are you thinking, like a regular 4x6 print? That would be fine, and you could even include it in a card to let people take home. That way you give the photo without dictating its use. People could frame it, put in an album, etc.

i think it will be nice but I agree that maybe putting it in envelope with a note explaining why they got it would be a good way to go. I prefer not to get a photoframe as a favor since most likely its not our style, so then its just one more frame we have taking up room in our closet. I'd prefer to have an option of where I would want to put it, frame, album, etc.
