Mine is a 1.01 ct cushion on 7 1/4 finger

They do face up smaller than round cuts, but I like the personality of the cushion cut!!

We got the diamond and setting from jamesallen.com The setting is the .54ct common prong in yellow gold. I love it!

@icy1liz:  I also love cushions but went back and forth because they can appear smaller. However they are just a gorgeous cut!! I found this thread that sold me on cushions. I was drooling so gorgeous. There may be some photos in there that are helpful to you, but I feel like these photoa will make anyone a cushion lover!! Your ring will be absolutemy gorgeous!

@weim-love:  THank you!! It’s perfect! I’ve been looking for a perfect shared prong cathedral 4 prong setting and I’ve finally found it lol! Does it sit flush with a wedidng band do you know?

My e-ring is a 5mm cushion cut Moissanite (which I believe is the equiv of about a .5 – .75 ct diamond) in a bezel setting. The ring is a size 5. Perfect size stone for me!

@october22:  Yes it does!…here’s another angle. A band of the same height will sit flush. Also, there is a matching wedding band on james allen.

Cushion cuts do face up smaller, mine is a 1.2 carat bu I love it and wouldnt change it or the world. What I love most aobut it, is the fire that it gives off in low light situations…. absolutelly BEAUTIFUL!
