I am interested in have one or two men stand up on my side of the wedding party (one is my brother, one is a great friend of mine who grew up with my FI). I wanted to know if anyone else has had both girls and guys on their side of the wedding? I am not concerned about who they walk down with, both being very comfortable and close with the people on the grooms side. I just want to see pictures and how it looks in pictures! I am having a catholic mass, but I don’t really care about that, I just want to see pictures!! Me and FI both have some traditional family members, but its our wedding, I just want to see what the pictures look like, so that I can show my guys to make sure they won’t feel uncomfortable standing up on my side 🙂
I found one that was a usual picture taken with the girls, for an example, let me see yours!

I don’t have any photos, but we have a very similar situation. I have 3 girls on my side and my FI has a boy and two girls on his side. Offbeat bride had some photos of mixed wedding parties.

I was thinking of doing the same exact thing! I would like for my brother and dear male friend stand next to me. I don’t have any close girlfriends. Another option is having no bridal party at all which is something I may consider down the road.

I don’t have any photos either! But, I’m in my best friends wedding this spring and I am standing on his side. His bride-to-be is also having a guy stand on her side!

Yeah, we are having a fairly large bridal party, between 6-8 on each side. I just want to make it the most comfortable for everyone involved. And I don’t want to have to deal with family members being rude if it really stands out and isnt “traditional” enough. I don’t know, I might do it anyway, but I want to see real brides with their pictures with their bridesmen!
