I have had three trials and havent liked any of them so am looking for more inspriation : )
It looks very pretty! Do you like it? If you're not veiling yourself, it might be nice to tuck in some flowers or sparkly things.
It looks nice. I love how the curls intermingle and aren't too tight, but it doesn't seem to stick out too much.
Thanks ladies! I really like how it turned out. I am planning on wearing my veil under, and it actually tucks under all the hair in the back, so it worked out well. I'm going to take the veil off for the reception too. Here is what the front looks like, it is a bit simpler, I didn't want to be able to see the back from the front (if that makes sense), and I have bangs....
Also keep in mind this is not the "finished product" she said it will be a bit smoother and nicer the day of the wedding, so I may have her tweak the front a bit.

Very pretty!! Did it take a long time? Do you have naturally curly hair?
I actually don't have curly hair, I just love the look of "textured hair" and having it look loosly (sp?) pulled back. I can't really think of how long it took because I had it cut and highlighted that same day, but I think probably an hour and fifteen minutes. I have a lot of thick hair, and it is well past my shoulders.
I love you hair! It looks great and personally I like the fact that it isn't super smoothed out. If I was wearing my hair up I would want it somthing like yours.
It's so pretty. I want to wear my hair up and back like that--I hope my trial is as successful! I love the way it's pinned but you can't even tell!

do you have an idea of how she did it?
I have to ask, I wanted a similar hair style to this but my hair stylist couldn't seem to pull it off.. How did you stylist give your hair texture. ie: barrel curl, curlers.. any hints that you have will help. I have another dry run next week and I'd like to give her some hints if possible. TIA
I few things I remember from this trial:
My hairstylist curled it with a flat iron. I know she sprayed "shine spray" as well throughout the process. She curled the top part tighter than the under part. She started by pulling back a small part in the middle (and about midway on my head), and then building all the curls from there while pinning it the whole time. It had 60 bobby pins in it!!

Very pretty! I like how you can really see the texture of the waves, and it doesn't look stiff.

Wow I love it!!! Mine didn't quite turn out that way since I have stick straight, fine hair. I'll have to show my stylist your pic though!! You'll look gorgeous!
Beautiful!!! I love, love, love the back! It's gorgeous! Can I ask how you described what you wanted to your hairdresser? I would LOVE to have a style very similar to yours, but I don't know how to describe it. Did you bring a picture, or were you just very good at describing what you wanted?! :)
I love it! One of my biggest fears is having my hair look like I'm going to the prom, but I want an updo with a little bit of curls. This is almost exactly what I'm looking for. It looks really elegant.

@ Maybee - I told my stylist that I wanted my hair to be pulled back but not flat against my head, with lots of texture (texture seems to be a trend in our wedding), and then the back to be curls interweaved and pinned so they couldn't be seen from the front! I used some inspiration pics I found here, as well as a few others that I found online. Good luck:)
