Does anyone have a picture of a solitaire ring with 6 large prongs. I’m worried about moissanite being too sparkly, so I figured if I get a custom made ring with heavy prongs, it may block some of the sparkle. I’m not sure if it’ll look appropriate though?
Thanks for your help!

Why don’t you want it to sparkle? I answered in your other post, but I’ll say it here too. The BTD forums have lots of photos of moissanite in many different settings.

I’m concerned with the stone looking to blingy/sparkly because I don’t want people to think I’m wearing a fake diamond. I’d be fine telling anyone it’s moissanite, but the last thing I want is for people to think I’m trying to fake it. I’d rather it pass as a diamond than a fake diamond. I know my opinion is opposite of what most girls want 🙂 The norm is to have a ring with the most sparkle.

i personally don’t like the 6 prong settings. it looks a little overpowering and you focus more on the claws than the stone. just my opinion.

6 prong round moissanite ring, 1.5 carats.
I’ve been in about 10 jewelry stores and I’m always faced with disbelief when I say that mine is moissanite. Mine has the amora enhancement.
I tend to prefer the 6 prong over 4 if they’re delicate prongs. Mine are incredibly small, you actually barely notice them. Most of the 4 prongs I looked at (on stones over 1ct) were too distracting with the 4, because they needed to be larger.

Here’s my 6-prong with a channel set band. You can hardly notice my prongs and they certainly don’t “block sparkle”. 🙂
