Anyone ever been to Pier House in Key West?  We were thinking of doing small beach ceremony there w cocktail reception for 25 people.  We got quoted $5400 for officiant, 150 photos, chair set up, flowers for bride and groom, floral arch, steel pan for 1 hr, open bar for 2 hrs, and dinner. Does this seem reasonable?

A few of my family members went there in February and loved it.  They said the hotel is newly remodeled and the only place they'd ever stay because it has a beach and most of the hotels there dont (literally I think only one other hotel there has a man made beach).  I've never been but they had nothing but good things to say about it.

Thanks sassypants!  It's good to hear some nice feedback about it, i'm worried cause we are so far away trying to plan (syracuse, ny).  Cool

For $216 all in per person, well that seems a bit steep.  Can you maybe let us know how that breaks down?

I'm planning a wedding in KW as well.  My FI and I just love it there...very laid back atmosphere.

Is the Pier House providing all of those services...or did you contact a separate vendor?  With the chairs, flowers, arch, steel drum, the price doesn't seem too bad to me.  Although, maybe it is a bit high since you aren't having a sit-down dinner.  I have menus from several locations that have plated meals and 4 hour open bar for $140-190 depending on your meals.  This does not include the 22% service tax and 7% sales tax.
