The second picture is so cute! These would look adorable sitting on a table with a colored or patterned tablecloth or runner under them!
I really like the second picture too! I agree with the runner or hanging in the tree would be nice too!
But to choose between the three: could have I pictures
Because I'm bias to say butterflies ;d (almost did a butterfly theme *sighs*)
These are really, really adorable! I think they would look best on a table. Maybe you could even lay down some sheet moss and have them sitting on top.
I love these! What about if you have much smaller pinecones? I have a ton that are about the size of your thumb. They won't stand up on their own and I'm worried about them rolling all around the table. Fun ideas anyone has about using smaller ones for escort cards?

Hi Hive!
i have been going back between vintage keys, butterflies (our wedding mascots :), and pinecones (it's a woodland fairylke theme and our tables are named after special trees). I've done a mock up of the pinecones and I am liking them because they can sit on the table and will match the table decor (more tree inspired decor).
What do you think of these as escort cards? Do you like them hanging from a tree on the grounds so guest will look on the tree to find their seating plus it will make a pretty picture or sitting on a table.
I may do a mock up of the other two ideas but I'm kind of wanting to run with it!
