Oh my goodness, I feel a little ridiculous... and so EXCITED! I just made my first purchase! And they are PALE PINK SPARLY HIDDEN PLATFORM 4 3/4 INCH HEELS! He is 7 inches taller than me so I may rethink them so I can feel shorter than him and feminine. I love them, and I will find a dress that will work with them if it kills me! I know... I am a little nuts.

What do you think? Stick with them, or go shorter to be even shorter than he is? (I wear heels all the time so I am not worried about comfort)

Those shoes are wonderful and I'm a firm believer that you can never have a heel high enough! (well unless they are those strange ones strippers wear)

    I think they are great.

I am just under 5'2" and my FI is almost 6'. I am wearing 4" heels with a 1/2" hidden platform. I think if you want to wear those shoes, you will be fine.

@jedcaj:Hahaha! Its funny you say that, My mom thinks these are border-line stripper shoes!

She is adorably traditional and REALLY old-fashioned: "How about a nice white or ivory shoe with a closed toe? I don't think colored shoes portray the right kind of girl... and sparkly and over 3 inches? Make sure your fiance is ok with that because he might think they are "street walker" or stripper shoes..." oh Mama :) she's so cute.

I still asked him, but didnt show him, he laughed and said they sounded fun, just in case!

They're pretty. Not sure how tall you are, but here's my perspective on super tall shoes. I'm almost 6 feet tall, FH is 6'6". I bought a pair of platforms that are close to the same height that the pink ones are. And it felt a little weird to be towering over everyone at the wedding we went to. And when I danced with some of our guy friends, they were definitely a lot shorter than me.

So, if you're tall too, that's something to think about (dancing with people besides your FH).

And with 4.5" heels, you'll be stuck in them all night unless you want your dress to really drag on the ground after you kick them off (because my feet were KILLING me after 4 hours).

It says 4" heels with 3/4" platform, not 4 3/4" heels.

I also object to the notion that you need to be shorter than your husband to appear feminine.  Katie Holmes anyone?

Don't worry about being shorter, like that would be the ONLY thing making you feel feminie that day. You're going to be in a wedding gown saying vows to a man who wants to spend the rest of his life making you happy. What could be more feminine then that???? Those shoes are gorgous! And if you think you might not want to wear them for the whole wedding then make a compromise. Wear them for the ceremony, then switch to a pale pink ballet flat for the reception and dancing, then change back into the pink platforms for when you leave the wedding and have your honeymoon outfit on (if you ahve a special desginated outfit for that).

Either way those shoes are so beautiful and what woman wouldn't feel like a million bucks in those?! Pretty much ANY wedding gown will go with those, don't worry!! I just purchased my shoes before buying my wedding dress too!!
