Maybe it’s just the lighting, but that stone doesn’t look quite right.  I think it’s ok, but, if you don’t love it, you should keep looking.

I think it’s pretty, but I don’t think you should let the SA talk you into something you don’t love.

I don’t have a gem stone halo..but if you want a cushion then thats what you should get..the sales lady is just trying to make a sale..although I think its a gorgeous ring!..but ovals arnt your favorite you should get something you love!.have you considered a peachy pink or barely pink cushion cut moissy in a diamond halo?..they are absolutely gorgeous!

NanaChan:  When I look at the picture, the color of the stone isn’t even across it.  Maybe it’s a shadow, but the stone above the band is darker than the stone below the band.

NanaChan:  Wow, I really love that ring. I’m partial to ovals, and gemstone halos. I have a cushion cut sapphire halo:

I think the stone is a little more pink/purple but if you like it that is great, the setting is wonderful

I think it’s quite pretty, however I don’t think you should settle for a stone just because a sales associate says it looks good on you or because we think it looks nice. I think you should continue searching for the perfect cushion for you!  You will love your ring so much more if you go with your gut.

NanaChan:  I do think the ring you tried on looks pretty, but you’re the one who has to love it if you’re going to wear it. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. I say if you oval is one of your least favorite cuts, I would say keep looking for the perfect cushion cut for yourself and wait until you find one that you love.

For ex, while I think this ring is pretty and I love the oval shape, I love more of a champagne or peachy pink color, so a lavender pink wouldn’t do it for me personally. It wouldn’t matter what anyone else said, I would keep looking for something that was closer to what I wanted for myself.
