They filed for protection from creditors, but I don't know that they are shutting down. We just did our day-after shoot there a few weeks ago, and it is such a beautiful place. But their management and customer service were not as smooth as they could be. Hopefully they will get their act together and find their way back into the black.
I hope so, I can't even imagine going through that. & I agree it's beautiful, I looked at getting married there myself.

So while I was at my venue the other day, the coorindator told me that Pintail Point at the River Plantation, on the Eastern Shore had gone bankrupt and they were being flooded with phone call from their brides scrambling to find venues & dates. I cannot even imagine going through this, and hopefully it doesn't happen. But I just wanted to say best of luck to all those brides that I'm sure are under enough stress already.
