Looks so delish!!! I am definitely going to have to try it now. Awesome job :)
I made my first successful Pinterest recipe last week! Bacon wrapped brown sugar chicken. Mmmm.....
That looks Nummy! I haven't tried any pinterest recipes yet... I must repin this!
Do try it. It makes alot, we probably have enough for two dinners for the three of us. I would half or even quarter the amount of onion and use just alittle more sauce next time. Other than those small changes it was so freaking delish!
@tksjewelry: that looks amazing!!! Good job!
I... on the other hand... a Pinterest recipe fail this past Saturday that resulted in a sinus cleanser... compliments of too much horseradish sauce on our "easy french dip sandwich" recipe. My FI didn't eat right for the rest of the day!
@Amanda_Rae: LOL, a little horseradish goes a long way. Other than the extra horshradish, how was the sandwich?
@tksjewelry: the rest of it was GREAT, but unfortunately, the horseradish was soooo strong that even the smell of it made my stomach turn
@Amanda_Rae: I think I need a link for that, I love french dips and horseradish (in moderation, LOL).
@Juliepants: It was seriously one of the best things I have ever eaten. I used 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts and cut them into tenderloin size. You could just buy the chicken tenderloins too. I sprinkled them with garlic salt and chili pepper, and red pepper flakes. Then you wrap each piece of chicken in a piece of bacon. You roll the WHOLE thing in brown sugar, then bake for about 30 minutes at 350. OMG. It made this yummy sauce. I served it with twice baked potatoes :-)
@Lindsay12.31.2010: I think I need to revise my plan for dinner tonight. :O
@Lindsay12.31.2010: That sound absolutely delish! I am going to copy and paste that into my live.com account.
@MissPumpkinPie: It was seriously delicious, and so easy! It would be really good grilled too, if I didn't have snow and ice everywhere (thank you, Missouri weather)
@Lindsay12.31.2010: That sounds really good!
@tksjewelry: I am too excited to find out you can shred chicken with a kitchenaid mixer, I never knew but that sounds soo much easier than using two forks! I'm getting a secondhand one this weekend and I can't wait to try this!
@MissBoPeep: DH was stoked too. He wants to make pulled pork now and try it. Darn, that would really suck, eh, LOL.
Here's the Pinterest link for exact recipes. As usual, I just kind of tweak it as I go along!
@Lindsay12.31.2010: Thank you. I absolutely love brown sugar. This is going to be so good.
@MissPumpkinPie: I was afraid it was going to be too sweet, but it wasn't! It was a perfect mix of sweet and spice, and the sauce it made was delicious. Next time I am going to make it with mashed potatoes.... Mmm.....
@Lindsay12.31.2010: Thanks, I pinned that. The picture looks so good.
Thank you for sharing this recipe! I just made it for dinner and it came out fantastic! :)
I made a Tater Tot Casserole that I found on there last night. I added in green beans, and ohhhhh man was it good!

I try to make an effort to actually DO the things I've pinned, so I'm trying to make lots of the recipes I've found there. These ones were great:

@Lindsay12.31.2010: Thanks again for the recipe/idea. It was delicious!!
I made the recipe that started this thread for dinner tonight and FI loved it! Now I see there are a million new things to look at and try. :)
@Juliepants: We had the leftovers for dinner tonight (it was still super fantastic) and I am sending the last few to work with DH tomorrow for a single guy who never gets home cooking. I had enough chicken left over that I froze it and will make it again next week and take half of it to my dads.
@MrsMaine: That is exactly my moms hamburger casserole with the green beans, I never thought about doing it with tater tots, I am going to make that. I think it would cook in half the time than using the sliced potatoes that we have always used.
@JeniRae: Those look rediculously good, I am pinning those.

I have made a few things from pinterest that were just not good, but tonights dinner was freaking amazing. It was slightly time intensive, but so worth it. I don't know what bee said to shred chicken breasts with the Kitchen Aid, THANK YOU! That saved me so much time and was so easy that even DH was shocked.
If you all get a chance, try this recipe, it is really really good.
