Totally radom post, but I was just wondering if there were certain features or things about pinterest that you like? Or dislike.
1. I like that it shows how many pins are in someone’s board so I know how much time I’ll probably be commiting to it. (I hardly ever look at a board with over 1000 pins)
2. I like that when entering a search term again or you reload the page, it brings you exatly back to where you left off. Who wants to srcoll through all those again?
3. I like that it warns you if you’re about to “re-pin” something. Sometimes I will pin a pin again, but to a different board it also applys to.
So what do you like or dislike?

I really only use it for recipes. I love that I can pin them and then go back later and know exactly where it is!

I am not an online socialess by any means, but once I discovered pinterest for wedding stuff, I made a board and have gathered so many ideas! I love that it’s all in once place, so when I want to show someone, I don’t have to flip through my pictures folder on my computer or my phone. All my ideas, neatly organized, easy to access. And I have the app. 🙂
The only thing I dislike is that the scroll seems to be infinitely long (sometimes). There’s no way to filter your search, but if you get too defined, you don’t get many results. And when I click back after looking at a pin, it starts at the top, and I have to scroll all over again.
But all in all, I find it useful.

@GeorgiaBride5: That doesn’t happen to me, but you could try opening the seected pin in a new tab?

I do most of my cooking from recipes online (so much better than cookbooks since you can actually read feedback from other people who made the recipes), so I love that I can go to my pinned recipes and find something that I already made just by looking for the picture/description. It’s a huge help when I’m driving home from work and need to find a tried-and-true recipe on my phone before I get to the grocery store.

I love that I can have different boards. I have one for Holiday decor, Halloween decor, wedding ideas, bathroom decor (when I was redoing my bathroom) etc.
I love that you can post your own captions to the pictures. So if I just like the look of something specific on a pin I can edit it so that its not a paragraph about where the previous poster bought this that and the other.
I do not like that I can’t get to Pinterest from work . Apparently they think a B2B will spend all day long on Pinterest posting and pinning ideas instead of being productive lol. So I spend all day on WB instead

I am Pinterest obsessed! I found out about it too late for my wedding, but now that we’re expecting, I’m on it constantly getting ideas for a nursery and baby shower. I didn’t realize that it warns you about repinning, that’s pretty cool!

I just love finding new stuff I would never find because I don’t regularly browse other blogs and stuff!

I think people slam it all the time but they use it just as fervently as everyone else.

I love it for recipes and general ideas. I bought a pair of bright blue skinny jeans and I wanted some ideas for different things to wear them with so I searched and I got tons of ideas. I do that for dinners, baking, quick workout routines, cleaning tips, etc.
