Yeah, do they know you’re pregnant? If you let them know that, I’m sure they’ll be way more understanding.

@gigglebox:  Exactly!  My assistant is 9 months pregnant and she came in AND got me flowers!

(I had no idea it was bosses day until I got here)

My boss once made me work through a migraine (the only one I ever had in the two years I was employed there). In a room of screaming infants.

I eventually had to inform them I would be leaving for the day, with or withour their blessings.

Well, they’ll just have to be mad then lol. They know you’re pregnant and, hopefully, know that you won’t use it as a way to get out of work. They’ll just have to deal with you being gone early.

@eecuadrado:  Who cares if they are mad? You need to take care of you. Would they rather have you work the rest of the day as an unproductive mess or have you well rested and ready to be productive tomorrow?

I can see where they might be concerned. Those are pretty typical pregnancy symptoms and they can last quit a while, they might be worried that you won’t be willling to push through and do your job because of your symptoms.
