I'm not super familiar with the nightlife downtown... but you should be able to get a cab to the Strip District or the North Shore pretty easily. There are lots of places to go there. I'm jealous you're going to the concert!!
About 5 minutes from your hotel is a cool martini bar called Olive or Twist. It is located in the Cultural District, near theaters and restaurants.
If you'd rather go somewhere where you can hit up multiple places in one night, I'd say the South Side or Station Square is your best bet. You'd have to get a ride across the river to either of these locations, but it's no more than a 5, maybe 10 minute drive. South Side is good for bar hopping (parking is a pain, though, if you're driving) and Station Square has a mixture of bars and nightclubs.

YOU NEED to take a cab into the southside. The bars and clubs there are so so so much fun. They range from the new and upscale to the complete dives {think MAJOR zone of no judgement!} Cabs are super cheap and everyone is wildly friendly...just don't mention you're from Cleveland. Oh MY how i miss my city :) HAVE FUN!

I second the hop a cab to either the Southside or Station Square. Downtown kinda sucks for night life, so you have to venture out a little.

I agree that the southside is the place to go if you want to go bar hoping. Olive or Twist though is really great if you want to stay close. The area directly around the arena can get a little rough sometimes.

Hi Ladies! I know we're from rival cities (football-wise, at least) but I need your help with a non-wedding related topic. I'm going to the Britney Spears concert in a few weeks at the Mellon Arena. We're staying at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center. We'd like to go out to a fun bar/club after the concert. Can anyone give me some ideas? It would be great if there is stuff close to the arena/hotel. I don't want to wander aimlessly around the city at night. Thanks so much!
