    Hey ladies!!

    So me and my fiance are most likely going to have a nice, (possibly small), outdoor park ceremony for our wedding near our home. However, neither of us belong to a church so I'm looking up officiants that I would want to marry us.

    I'm pretty sure that I've looked at every possible officiant in the Pittsburgh area. And I would love if anyone in the Pittsburgh area, or anyone really, would give me some insight on their outside officiant ceremony if they had one. Did you like it? Who did you have? Was the price worth it? etc?

    I'm trying to find something/someone to marry us. Because I don't want my family's 'typical' wedding which is going to the courthouse/justice of the peace and then going out to dinner afterwards. I want something nice for once.

    Help? lol

    Hi there! My wedding is May 4th of this year but I am using Pittsburgh Wedding Chapel. The price is $250 which is one of the cheapest I could find. The person I met with name is Lori and she was absolutely awesome! You can make any changes you want to the ceremony and they are very accomadating. Hope ths helps!

    Rev Larry from meaningfulmarriages.com will be marrying FH and I in October. I really like him and his price is good. You can go with his standard ceremony or customize it as much as you want.

    If you don't find anyone professional that you like, you can have a friend or family member do it -- or even yourselves. PA is a self-uniting marriage state! My husband and I did this and had our best "couple friends" perform the ceremony -- it was awesome.

    @Cassie013:  Thanks so much! I'll definately be looking into that! =)

    @village_skeptic:  I was actually hoping to find someone in our friends/family that would be willing to marry us. I feel that it would mean so much more and be much more peronal if it was a close friend/family member. However, the family that I feel that would be willing to get ministered and marry us, wouldn't be my top choice =p.

    @ciemvee:  Thanks!! =)
